9:30 to 10:45 AM          HIT - Defining the Puzzle
                                          Keith Williams
                                         Defining telehealth, EMR, HIE and their place in the HIT spectrum. 
                                         This session will set the stage by defining the puzzle  and the 
                                         ensuing sessions will attempt to put the puzzle pieces in place for 
                                         the participants.

11 to Noon                      Puzzle Piece #1: First Step to HIT Success is Infrastructure Building
                         Keith Williams, and Rick Burgin, CHN Network Administrator

                                        What is necessary to operate a telehealth and information network.
                                        Take Away #1: Participants will obtain a working knowledge of 
                                        health information technology infrastructure requirements.

1 to 2 PM                       Puzzle Piece #2: Strategic Planning for HIT Adoption

                                        Take Away #2- Participants will gain a working knowledge 
                                         of planning for HIT adoption

2 to 4 PM                      Puzzle Piece #3: Telehealth

                                        (includes break roughly halfway through session)

                                       Telehealth history, definitions and our experience in TN
                                       Take Away #3: Participants will gain a working knowledge of 
                                       telehealth and benefit from both successes and lessons learned in TN.

                                        Take Away #4: Participants will get a different perspective on 
                                        telehealth from another state.

                                                        EMR Implementation, Change Management
                                                        Take Away #6- Participants will learn the importance of EMR, 
                                                        how it is best implemented and how to manage the changes in 
                                                        a facility that going to an electronic record and/or telehealth 
                                                        requires.
